Reapit partners with Just Move In to improve the home move experience and create new revenue opportunities for agents

Reapit, the leading provider of estate agency technology, has announced a new strategic partnership with innovative home move service Just Move In, designed to help agents better support their customers at the point of moving, while unlocking new revenue opportunities for agencies.

This new strategic partnership focuses on one of the most stressful parts of the property journey, the move itself. By helping tenants and buyers manage or arrange utilities, council tax, insurance and broadband, agents can deliver a five-star supported service at a point where their customers need it most. This helps strengthen the bond between agents and their customers, while building long term goodwill.

Making move-in stress free for all

Moving home comes with a long list of admin, and customers increasingly expect agents to help. Through the partnership and integration between the two tech providers, agents can refer tenants and buyers to Just Move In. Their team then handles essential setup tasks on the agent’s behalf, including council tax, and recommend broadband, utilities and insurance services to save movers money. The service also recommends sustainable suppliers for utilities where possible, and plants a tree for every mover, helping agents support environmentally responsible choices.

The Just Move In integration helps reduce pressure on both the customer and the branch. Movers get a simple, supported five-star service at a stressful point in the journey, while agents benefit from stronger relationships, improved customer satisfaction and additional revenue when utilities and services are taken up through the integration.

Reducing complexity during void periods

The partnership also addresses a major operational challenge for property managers, change of occupancy and void periods. Just Move In’s platform can reduce change of occupancy admin by up to 90%, saving property managers an average of 19 hours per month by managing utility notifications and supplier updates when tenants move out.

This is particularly important following the Renters’ Rights Act, which allows tenants in England to give two months’ notice at any point during a tenancy. Void periods are now less predictable, making it harder for property managers to plan workloads and increasing the risk of unpaid or disputed utility bills between tenancies.

By removing manual admin from property management teams and simplifying utility management, the partnership with Just Move In helps Reapit-powered property management teams stay in control as tenancy patterns become more volatile.

Building long‑term relationships

Looking ahead, the partnership will also support the development of a more connected, end‑to‑end customer experience through new AI‑driven home setup and concierge capabilities.  

This will enable agents to stay engaged with tenants and buyers well beyond the initial move-in date, offering ongoing support in finding the best deals on broadband, utilities and other services throughout their time in the property. This will help keep the agency front of mind when customers move again and create new opportunities for repeat customers.
