Reapit extends its dual accreditation for client accounts

12th Dec 2016

Back in 2013, Reapit obtained recognition as an accredited supplier from the National Approved Lettings Scheme (NALS) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) for their multi-award-winning software, RPS.

During 2016 these came up for renewal and Reapit is delighted to announce that they have retained both accreditations. This means that RPS continues to maintain its title as the only combined software solution in the industry – for sales, lettings, property management and client accounts – to hold both.

NALS and ICAEW both rigorously tested the software solution and found the lettings, accounts and property management modules met stringent standards.

Craig McLellan who manages the ICAEW accreditation scheme commented: “Once again, I’d like to congratulate Reapit on their accreditation. When we initially tested the RPS software, we felt satisfied that it was a well-designed product that met the needs of the end users. And we are delighted that RPS continues to meet the accreditation standards set for Property Management and Lettings Software.”

With the introduction of their industry-first client accounts audit report, Reapit has further strengthened their claim as a reputable provider. The RPS software ensures all client accounts reconcile to the penny every day. Whilst this is not a requirement of ARLA, Reapit feels it is best practice to be able to account for every transaction and all monies in all client accounts on a daily basis.

The bi-annual report reviews the client’s accounts and highlights action points within them - ultimately helping the client tackle concerns straightaway. In addition, the client account reconciliation can be run at any time and is cross-checked against the client’s bank statements to ensure complete accuracy.

Matt Goddard, Director at Reapit commented: “Our client accounts portfolio has grown 77% over the last year through a combination of new clients and the organic growth of those businesses who are reaping the benefits of our client accounts functionality. During that time, we have evolved from a business focused not just on the ‘penny perfect’ mantra, but also reviewing the general health of lettings client accounts. The Reapit Audit Report is the outcome of that drive.”
