It's a strike! Reapit clients score big at the EAOTYA

5th Dec 2016

The hottest event in the property calendar took place on Friday 2nd December at the London Hilton Metropole – a swanky new venue for the annual EA Live seminar and Estate Agency of the Year Awards ceremony.

During the first half of the day, delegates mingled with fellow agents and industry suppliers. They also listened to inspiring talks from the likes of James Dearsley, PropTech Expert, and Miles from RightMove, who presented insightful research around the big data they sit upon. Peter Knight continued the theme when he looked at some eye-opening stats in the biggest Vendor Survey report of its type available today.

This was followed by the Awards ceremony in the afternoon. An astounding 33 awards were picked up by Reapit and its clients including the most prized accolade of the night: The Overall UK Estate Agency of the Year – which Marsh & Parsons proudly took home.

This is the second-time Marsh & Parsons has won this prestigious title and are only one of three agencies to do so. The judges were particularly impressed with the agency’s exemplary customer service, impressive company culture and vast business expertise.

Reapit clients dominated much of the regional and specialist categories. Martyn Gerrard won Gold for Best London Medium Agency. Best Customer Service Large was awarded to Pygott & Crone and Preston Baker won best Training and Development. See below for a full list of winners at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards.

And for a record-breaking fourth time, Reapit was recognised as the best supplier in the industry, winning Gold in the Supplier category and beating off stiff competition from IAM Sold, property auction specialists and Yomdel, internet marketing provider.

Simon Whale, Director at Reapit commented: “We continue to raise the bar of property software for estate agents. This year we have continued to develop further, delivered purpose-built training suites and valuable consultancy in the form of Value Reports – and there’s even more planned for next year! We are, therefore, delighted to be recognised for all the hard work that we do.”

Gary Barker, MD commented:“Our clients scooping up 32 titles at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards in various categories, including the overall winner, highlights their sheer brilliance. It’s an honour to witness them succeeding at such coveted events and we send them our best wishes.”
